Lowbay LED
The CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme is a compulsory government initiative for businesses who consume over 6,000 MWh a year (half hour energy consumption). All businesses are entered into a performance related league table with penalties enforced upon those presenting the lowest electricity reduction per annum. With this in mind a number of businesses are tackling their electrical spend, with particular attention to lighting. The Lowbay LED is a product ideally suited to assisting businesses operating within this scheme.
The unique 14,800lm LED module used in the Lowbay LED offers a realistic alternative to metal halide sources. Using the integral R11 sensor, it can be programmed to offer accurate presence detection, powering up when an area is occupied then powering off or dimming during periods of absence. The “fit and forget” nature of LEDs allow the user to install luminaires in hard to reach areas without the uninviting prospect of regular and costly lamp changes. With zero mercury content and no glass elements the Lowbay LED is suitable for areas where contamination should be avoided such as food and drink warehouses.
